Recruiting Through Relationships

ALD’s consultants have an extensive network of legal professionals at all levels throughout the country, which is always where our recruiting process begins. This often leads to successful placements through referrals without needing to employ traditional recruiting methods.

These relationships, coupled with our consultants in-depth knowledge of the legal market, often lead to a more streamlined recruiting process and long-term success for our clients and candidates.

Lateral Partners

ALD, Inc. offers two options for lateral partner recruiting:

Non-retained & Non-exclusive partner recruiting

ALD, Inc. has enjoyed success recruiting partners nationally and is often sought out for our particular expertise with recruiting diversity partners. With this option, ALD, Inc. will present partner candidates to any of our clients where we believe there could be a mutual interest and the partner has expressed interest in a firm.

Retained/Exclusive partner recruiting

ALD, Inc. will actively recruit partners exclusively on behalf of a client who has retained us and will not present these partners to other firms unless the retained client declines to move forward with a partner candidate. Also with this option, once ALD, Inc. is retained and a consultant(s) is assigned to this search, the search will become that consultant’s exclusive focus.

Practice Groups

ALD, Inc. offers two options for practice group recruiting:
